Helikon MBDU NyCo Rip-Stop Trousers - PenCott WildWood
The MBDU (Modern Battle Dress Uniform) model in PenCott WildWood camouflage features 8 functional pockets. It is perfect for both tactical and outdoor wear in the field and for everyday urban use.
Durable Rip-Stop reinforced fabric, VersaStretch material
The trousers are made from high-quality fabric with a weight of 225 g/m2, consisting of an equal blend of cotton and nylon. The Rip-Stop weave enhances resistance to abrasions and damage, while thicker threads create a reinforcing grid that reduces the risk of tears spreading. This makes the trousers ideal for demanding field conditions, ensuring durability and comfort. Additionally, the VersaStretch (93% nylon, 7% elastane) material has been incorporated in the seat and crotch area to improve flexibility and provide greater freedom of movement.
8 practical pockets
The model is equipped with 8 spacious pockets:
- two inset hip pockets with reinforced edges
- two rear pockets with reinforced edges
- two spacious cargo pockets secured with buttons
- two smaller calf-height pockets secured with hook-and-loop fasteners
YKK zipper, adjustable waistband and leg cuffs, wide belt loops
Instead of a button, the model features a wide hook-and-loop fastener, allowing precise adjustment of the waistband to fit the body. The fly is fitted with a durable zipper from the renowned Japanese brand YKK. Wide belt loops accommodate belts up to 50 mm wide, ensuring stability even under heavy loads. Two front loops also include attachment points for securing small accessories. At the bottom of the pant legs, elastic drawcords with stoppers allow for width adjustment.

PenCott is an advanced system of second-generation digital camouflage, developed by the British company Hyde Definition. Its characteristic feature is a multi-level pattern structure, including micro-, meso-, and macro-patterns.
PenCott WildWood is a camouflage variant designed specifically for operations in dense temperate forests, especially in environments with lush, multi-layered vegetation typical of many European regions. It is an evolution of the GreenZone concept, with a darker and more saturated color palette, better suited to shadow, moisture, and deep undergrowth conditions. The WildWood pattern is based on the distinctive PenCott structure combining micro-patterning with realistic color noise and sharp contrasts that effectively break up the silhouette at various distances. Dominant tones include deep greens, olive shades, and muted browns, providing effective concealment in varied, shadowy vegetation.
